As part of their 2014 Commitment, Women’s World Banking is holding a learning event to share the value of using Gender Performance Indicators with industry stakeholders. Co-hosted by the Microcredit Summit Campaign, the Women’s World Banking E-Workshop will help financial institutions to improve outreach and service to women.
Join us on Tuesday, November 11th at 10:00 AM (GMT-4) for an E-Workshop webinar titled “Are you serving women well? Using the Gender Performance Indicators”This webinar will be conducted in English. For our Spanish-speaking colleagues, the Portal de Microfinanzas (@Portal_MF) will be live-tweeting in Spanish the key points addressed by the speakers.
Join Jaclyn Berfond from Women’s World Banking, for an overview of the Gender Performance Initiative (GPI), an initiative to develop and analyze gender-based social and financial performance indicators and, ultimately, strengthen financial inclusion of low-income women.
The conversation will also feature Mike Krell, analysis and data management lead from the Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX), who will discuss the development of the “Select Five” Gender Performance Indicators, and Shahinaz Sager, network branch manager from Microfund for Women (MFW) in Jordan, who will be sharing the value of using these indicators in her organization.
Through these valuable insights, you will gain a better understanding of how well you are serving women clients and staff and learn how to make more effective decisions – on outreach, product innovation, and service quality – that will ultimately improve your institution’s double-bottom line.
