L-R: Queen Sofia, Muhammad Yunus, Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, and Larry Reed.

You don’t want to miss the inspirational words of Muhammad Yunus, Queen Sofia of Spain, Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Hussain J. Al Nowais of the U.A.E., and Larry Reed, director of the Microcredit Summit Campaign. Their thoughtful commentary will set the stage for this year’s program and put us all in mind to how we can work towards creating or expanding microfinance and financial inclusion strategies that create clear pathways for social inclusion across the globe.

The Microcredit Summit Campaign will organize this 4-day event in partnership with the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) and the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. Our goal is to create linkages among key influencers in the development and financial inclusion ecosystem to ensure that a full range of microfinance products and services reach those who are socially and financially excluded. The learning agenda will also guide and facilitate discussions on how these sectors can contribute to the success of the post-2015 Global Goals for Sustainable Development and the World Bank 2030 goals.

With the addition of the March 14th, we have added two new plenary sessions and workshop sessions to the program. We will be sharing the updated program with details about the new sessions, speakers, and more — very soon! Take a look at the sessions that have been announced and register today:
